Therapy helps golfer get back to the life she loves
Last June, Kay Kustanbauter fell and broke six ribs. It was a painful pause for her busy life. She is deeply involved in the Penn State and Centre County community, having served as the executive director of the Nittany Lion Club before her retirement and currently serving as the vice chair of Mount Nittany Health Foundation’s Board of Directors. It was also an unexpected hiatus of her favorite sport: golf. Fortunately for her – and her golf game – Valley View Short‑Term Rehab was ready to get her back to the life she loves.

After an accident, Valley View Rehab key to returning to active life
Bill Gill was helping a friend with horses when one of the horses spooked and Bill fell on uneven ground. It wasn’t a hard fall, but it was enough to necessitate immediate surgery and rehabilitation. After he was discharged from the hospital, he needed a place to recover and heal so he could get back to his active life. He says that he found exactly what he needed at Valley View Retirement Community.
