Expanding with New Memory Personal Care Neighborhood, The Landing at Memory Lane
July 8, 2026
Valley View Retirement Community is expanding its continuum of memory care services with the upcoming opening of a new Memory Personal Care neighborhood designed to meet the growing needs of individuals living with memory loss while promoting dignity, purpose, and connection.
As part of this expansion, the entire building will be renamed Memory Lane, reflecting both the trusted reputation of the current memory care program and the addition of a new level of support for residents and families.
To help everyone clearly identify each area of the building, the first floor will be called The Landing at Memory Lane, and the second floor will be called The Loft at Memory Lane. These names are intended to provide simple, intuitive orientation to each floor while connecting both neighborhoods to the Memory Lane name.
“For years, Memory Lane has been recognized throughout the region for providing compassionate, person-centered memory care,” Geli Losch, Executive Director of Memory Services and Community Impact, said. “These new names honor that legacy while creating clear distinctions between the two levels of care offered within the building.”
Opening later this year, The Landing at Memory Lane will offer:
- Memory Personal Care services
- Studio apartment living with supportive care
- Personalized assistance with daily routines
- Opportunities that encourage autonomy, voice, and choice
- Purpose-driven structure and meaningful connection throughout each day
Formerly known as Memory Lane, The Loft at Memory Lane will continue to provide:
- Skilled Nursing Memory Care
- 24/7 clinical support
- A secure and engaging environment
- The trusted, high-quality care that families throughout the region have come to rely upon
Valley View’s Short-Term Rehab services, which was previously located on the First Floor, will relocate to the neighborhood adjacent to the Therapy Gym, allowing the Memory Lane building to be fully dedicated to memory care services.
Individuals interested in The Landing at Memory Lane are encouraged to complete an interest form and join the reservation list for anticipated move-ins later this year.
