Shining a Light on Wellbeing

The recently published findings reveal that vertical illumination—the light we see directly in our line of vision—plays a powerful role in enhancing mood and behavior.

In Memory of Nancy Rowe: Valley View’s First Director of Nursing
During her 19 years at Valley View, Nancy Rowe made many adjustments and improvements to the nursing department as part of the daily learning experiences. "“It was a very good fit. Her values and Valley View’s values were so compatible. She was a Christian and she always wanted to do things right – and wanted everyone else to do things right, too.”

Renovation Update
We are happy to share that our renovations continue to advance smoothly, and we are on track with all planned timelines. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of many, along with patience and understanding, we have reached an exciting milestone in our journey… having residents once again move into Chapel Drive and enjoy the neighborhood.

Memory Personal Care FAQs
Memory Personal Care will have an enhanced focus on memory aids and cues, so residents have successes in their day not just within their own studio apartment but when out and about joining in activities or enjoying the outdoor courtyard. Residents within a personal care setting typically need less hands-on care than is provided within a nursing setting such as Memory Lane.
