Over the past year, Valley View partnered with the Penn State University College of Engineering in a pioneering study exploring how lighting affects resident wellbeing. The recently published findings reveal that vertical illumination—the light we see directly in our line of vision—plays a powerful role in enhancing mood and behavior.

During her 19 years at Valley View, Nancy Rowe made many adjustments and improvements to the nursing department as part of the daily learning experiences. "“It was a very good fit. Renovation Update
We are happy to share that our renovations continue to advance smoothly, and we are on track with all planned timelines. Memory Personal Care FAQs
Memory Personal Care will have an enhanced focus on memory aids and cues, so residents have successes in their day not just within their own studio apartment but when out and about joining in activities or enjoying the outdoor courtyard. Residents within a personal care setting typically need less hands-on care than is provided within a nursing setting such as Memory Lane.
